Placencia! This is me, Hannah, and Elizabeth with Bryan taking the picture. We took a public bus to Independence, than took a water taxi over to Placencia (Placencia is on a peninsula, and the coastal roads in Belize are in really bad condition, so everyone takes boats over). Public transportation was definitely an experience, the bus stopped about every 10 minutes to pick people up, and sometimes it picked up some pretty interesting people… Anyway, this is us happy to be in Placencia after the long, hot ride over.
